the one about the Bump

This is a sampling of the images we took yesterday of our Amy and her husband Karl. We are all soooooo excited for this little guy to join us. Because Amy and I are planners we have been scouring the internet-read Pinterest- for ideas. Gary doesn't especially like photo shoots where the clients have a list of preconceived shots but he made an exception in this case. We let him take a few that he thought would be fun too.
Lots of people have commented on how "little" Amy is, this shows her growth pretty well I think...and taking photos of Amy always involves some laughing...

what you don't see is the shivering going on and Karl's skin turning purple-40 degrees is a bit cold for this outfit BUT the shirt is so cute...

Aaron loves restored autos so we met up with him at the Camas car show. One of the guys even let him get in his muscle car, needless to say Aaron was grinning ear to ear.

We have had a few regular photo trips too but I currently don't have access to those. Besides I tend to be the driver on those excursions anyway...

Senior season is back and it started out really well! 

So far only two appointments changed because of weather.
This year because it's too hot...

Gabriele's wish

Gabriele's wish for her birthday was that we would do new portraits. Other than the ones from the wedding last year, we had never done a full group and the ones of the 4 kids we had was at least three years ago.

Let me tell you-it was an experience...I mentioned in another post that although our two didn't particularly like having their photo taken when young, they sure like to now. No matter how they look...

This first photo was taken by a photographer friend, but the rest were taken by Gary with a few by Karl.Amy and her mommy-

And those were only some of the images we took. All in all-between Karl and Gary-they took about 500 shots before editing.

I have a new website I spend a lot of time on called Pinterest. The link will take you to my page with the "boards" of images I like. One of the images I saw on the site was a lower body shot with each person holding something that represented their hobby or job. This is our version...

Totally love it...I think I will get a large print for over our fireplace.
