Two things and lots of pictures

Two things...
Thing one-we have lived in our little home for more than 20 years and this has been what we have looked at from our back porch-a beautiful farm house. But the extra land around it sold and homes have been going in. Last week a foundation was poured for a home right in front of this farmhouse. Rediculous in our opinion, it will look so wrong to see a house sitting in their front yard. Squeezed in between the farmhouse and the drainage ditch...so greedy of the developers...
Thing two-CHRISTMAS... the first 3 are from my dd's lovely home. She painted and embellished those canvases! So cute...
her sparkly tree...
10 photos from my house-
1. Dining room window just above the treat counter
2. Dining room wall-pictures of us all as children at Christmas-need to add one of Gabriele. Hint,hint...
3. The nativity scene-placed stratigically to avoid Daisy-we hope. This was from Gary's childhood.
4. Close up of the tree in it's blue, green and purpleness
5. Presents piled underneath with photo tags and Daisy trying to figure out how to explore.
6. The fireplace with new hand-mades. The canvas wreath, styro trees and new stockings hung in a row. Oh and my granny's purple candy dish full of gumdrops.
7. Snowbaby corner
8. Pillows covered in Amy Butler fabric to match, reversible to stripes too.
9. My favorite Christmas photo that goes up every year
10. A bookcase full of Christmas books and music...
Such a busy weekend and we shot a wedding too-I need to take a rest!

so sad about the house going in! It's happening everywhere in Vancouver the last few years . . . !

Want to come and decorate my house? Just kidding. With the baby here, we don't know if we will decorate this year. He wants to get into everything. Yours looks great though.
